Red Bull Romaniacs adds a HOTEL overnight accommodation Marathon stage to the world’s toughest hard enduro rallye event
In order to make things more challenging, there is no access for service suppliers/service crews/factory teams/supporters/family and friends and no evening tyre changing overnight at Râmnicu Vâlcea.
Due to the Marathon Stage IT IS permitted to change tyre and mousses at the Offroad day 2 & Offroad day 3 Service Points, therefore, we are providing additional motorcycle servicing time at both Offroad day 2 & Offroad day 3 Service Points.
From the Offroad day 2 Service Point until they reach the next day Offroad day 3 Service Point Competitors will have to take care of their own motorbikes using the tools they are carrying, along with some specialist tools provided by event sponsor Milwaukee, who will be on hand at the entrance to the Parc Fermé security park in Râmnicu Vâlcea to assist competitors.
Competitors driving their motorcycles, will follow the Romaniacs direction signs from the Offroad day 2 finish to the Râmnicu Vâlcea motorcycle security Parc fermé. Competitors spend the evening & overnight in Râmnicu Vâlcea accommodation.

Marathon stage - WITHOUT Romaniacs accommodation - Competitors who DID NOT select the Romaniacs accommodation during the event Registration process, click the above link and follow the instructions. We can assist you finding overnight accommodation and breakfast.
Advisory: Accommodation in Râmnicu Vâlcea and close to the Marathon Parc fermé motorcycle security park in the JULY holiday period is very limited. Competitors WITHOUT overnight Marathon accommodation MUST organise this NOW and BEFORE arriving in Sibiu.
Service suppliers/service crews/factory teams/supporters/family and friends
They can head back to Sibiu AFTER the Offroad day 2 Service Point OR alternatively camp overnight at Offroad day 3 Service Point OR find local Pension, B&B, Hotel accommodation close by.
How do Competitors join the Marathon 'baggage holder' transfer service?
At the Romaniacs event inscription Ramada Hotel, Sibiu ALL competitors will be be provided with a 'baggage holder and label' which can be used to contain the competitors mobile phone charger, evening clothes, footwear and jacket, personal toilet bag and any needed medicines and for Offroad day 3 a race shirt, trousers, socks & gloves.
There is no charge for our Competitor 'baggage holder' transport service from the Sibiu Aria competitor paddock and back from the Marathon Parc fermé motorcycle security park.
Warning: Only ONE baggage holder per competitor will be transported, NO tools, oils or mechanical parts, or sharp objects are permitted !
What is provided at the Râmnicu Vâlcea location for competitors?
- Assistance from Milwaukee who will be at the entrance to the Parc Fermé with their professional tools.
- Parc fermé motorcycle security.
- The Râmnicu Vâlcea 'Romaniacs information desk' is beside the Parc Fermé security park
- Competitors Marathon 'baggage holder' delivered to the entrance of the Parc fermé
- first aid Medical facilities
- Administration desk for accommodation is at the Ramada Hotel, Râmnicu Vâlcea
- ONLINE Offroad Day 3 briefing will be at 20:00
Morning of Offroad day 3
- Shuttle transport to the Parc fermé security park for competitors whose overnight accommodation is further than easy walking distance.
- GPS hand-out at the entrance to the Parc fermé
- Competitor Hand-IN of Marathon 'baggage holder' at the entrance to the Parc fermé
- The Marathon 'baggage holder' will be delivered, ready for collection at the entrance of the Sibiu Aria competitor paddock
- Day 3 Parc Fermé START at the Red Bull starting Arch.
