Sibiu, Romania, 24 July 2023 - Red Bull Romaniacs has official started. The Nations Parade delivered colour and life to the historical Sibiu city centre. Fans, spectators, surprised tourists and families waved and cheered as 55 nations passed by on their motorcycles. Even resturant staff came out to wave as the riders passed by.

Once at the Prolog the Gold competitors tiptoed over the obstacles for the first few minutes before they felt assured enough to step up the pace. Andy Fazekas, Prolog director, has without doubt succeeded in creating a truly exciting spectacle for the special Edition 20, with more ramps and jumps than ever before running down both sides and the centre of the Bulevardul Coposu. The ramp section resembles a freestyle track while on the other sections competitors are confronted with tons of rocks, tyres and logs.
The overall feedback from the DEMOmaniacs is that it is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser with bikes flying high and criss crossing in a figure of eight. However, the obstacles could be trying for amateur classes who may be a little less tempted to fly quite so high, opting for the more precautionary chicken lines in order to save themselves for the Offroad Days that lie ahead.
The Impossible 55 Nations Ride
07:30 - 12:00 on Tuesday July 25 is the Prolog qualifications.
Silver class will kick of the qualifiers at 07:30, followed by Bronze at 08:40, Iron at 10:40 and Atom class at 11:30.
The top 35 competitors who qualify in their class will go through to the finals at 17:00.
16:00 Gold class qualifications
17:00 The Prolog Finals start.
The Prolog finals will be LIVE ONLINE streamed on the website from 17:00 EEST=Eastern European Summer Time.

OFFROAD DAYS
Wedneday 26 JULY is the start of the four Offroad Days. Each Offroad Day has between 10 and 20 spectator points.
The Spectator Point descriptions and maps make it easy to plan a full day of action out in the Carpathians. Competitor arrival times can be easily calculated by following the race progress.
The final challenge before successfully becoming a Red Bull Romaniacs finisher are the final Hillclimbs located at Dealul Gușterița, Sibiu. Competitors will also be gifted with some additional Andy Fazekas Prolog treats at the hillclimbs finish arena.

Competitor photo service - High and extra high resolution, professionally produced photographs are available for online purchase for competitors, family, friends and fans. The photos become available online from August 04.
Red Bull Romaniacs LIVEnews feed on the home page of the website follows the daily action out on the tracks in all five classes. The Content Creation Team capture videos and images which get upload instantly and appears very close to live, the content will also be used on social media platforms.
